How do you charge for help desk and troubleshooting?
I explain the hourly rate, any minimum or travel charge, and the expected scope before work starts. Ongoing support can be discussed separately if you need regular help.
What happens if a piece of equipment is completely broken and cannot be repaired?
I explain the diagnosis and available repair or replacement options. If you choose to replace it, I can help source suitable equipment and assess what data can be transferred or recovered.
